Matt Casey, Brad Tarbuck and Owen Roundell have pledged their future to Gosport

Matt Casey, Brad Tarbuck and Owen Roundell will be staying at Privett Park for the 2021/22 season.

The trio all arrived at Gosport Borough at the start of last season, however, due to the season being postponed in November then null and void in February it meant that Boro fans didn’t have too many opportunities to see them in action.

Casey had previously played for the club during the 2018/19 season and returned at the start of last preseason after spells at both Havant & Waterlooville and Bognor Regis. The centre-back made three league appearances.

Tarbuck joined Boro at the start of the 2019/20 season from Havant & Waterlooville, where he had been for the last three years. His brief time at the club has already impressed many Boro’ fans, with his trickery and ability to cut in from the right terrifying defences. His most significant moment in a Boro’ shirt was his stunning goal during Gosport’s 4-0 victory at home against Farnborough.

Roundell is a player that many Boro’ fans are yet to see. The midfielder joined from Sholing in October and made two appearances for Gosport before the end of the season, playing in the defeats against Poole Town and FA Trophy defeat against Dorchester Town.
