As expected the game was very even for 50/60 minutes, Hamble had some good players that made it difficult for us, especially in the first half.
The pitch wasn’t the best so at times we had to change it up a bit which suited them as it made the game a bit crappy. We always felt we would create chances and our quality would come through. In the second half there was a 15/20 minute spell where we absolutely dominated the game with possession/chances which saw us very quickly go from 1-1 to 3-1 up and then 5-1 by scoring some very good team goals.
We are delighted with the deserved win and the lads now have something to look forward to, which is always important. This group deserves nothing more than another opportunity to win another trophy.
Boro fans get the date in the diary, as your support in the final would give the lads a great boost and hopefully a great day for the club as a whole.
