Gosport Borough look to their own and welcome back Pat Suraci & Joe Lea to manage the first team and take control of all football matters at the AEI.

Following extensive discussions on the future direction of the club,
the popular BORO’ pair have accepted the challenge of leading the
club, as it begins to reshape itself into a truly self sustainable local community club and secure its long term future.

The club are delighted to make an appointment that it hopes will
re-energise everybody connected with the BORO’ and are excited to be able to start its optimistic preparations for the coming season.

Both Pat and Joe are talented footballers with extensive coaching experiences, having led the BORO’ Academy for a number of years alongside development roles at both Chelsea and AFC Bournemouth.

A joint opportunity between Gosport Borough and Petersfield FC saw the pair take on the roles of Joint Managers of The Rams last season. Their management credentials were cemented after steering Petersfield to promotion to the Wessex Premier League, as well as a journey into the Wessex League Cup Final.

BORO’s New Head Coaches take up their roles at Gosport Borough with immediate effect, and will be outlining their thoughts on the move back to the BORO’ on the club website and social media channels in the coming days.
