Interested in a job in the media? Why not apply to join the Gosport media team for the 2021/22 season.

Gosport Borough FC is looking for committed volunteers to join its media team for the 2021-22 season.

These are exciting opportunities for aspiring media professionals to gain experience of working at a dynamic Southern League football club.

We are seeking applications by email outlining why you think you would make a good addition to the Boro’ media team and which role(s) you would like to be considered for.

The roles we are looking to fill, along with their core tasks, are as follows:

Video Reporter (Home and Away)
- Match filming
- Post-Match interviews Manager/Player

Social Media Manager (Home and Away)
- Maintain Club Social Media Channels
- Weekly schedule
- Match-day feed

Web and Print Club Reporter

- Match reports
- Pre/Post Match Interviews
- Club News and promotions
- Programme copy

Commentary (Away Games)
- Provide commentary on our Mxlr channel of club away matches

Public Address Announcer (Home Games)
- Keep fans in our Privett Park stadium informed

In addition the club is looking for someone able to supply ad hoc graphics. An ability to do this would support an application for one of the above roles, or could be a stand-alone role.

Send your email application to: samrayment@gosportboroughfc.com by Monday May 10.

A CV and links to examples of previous media-related work would support your application. Ideally, you should be over 18. A full driving licence would be advantageous, as would knowledge of the club or non league football. A commitment to be available for home fixtures on Saturday afternoons and midweek evenings is essential. In addition, some roles require a willingness to travel away. This is an unpaid role, but reasonable out-of-pocket expenses will be paid.
