The Starting XI and the experimental squads maybe hard to draw any conclusions from…but surely the winning habit for The BORO’ is a good habit to have, and must help build some momentum ahead of the Big Kick Off on the 10th August when Gosport entertain Frome Town, in this seasons first competitive game.

Tonight’s game at the Stanley Chase Stadium delivered a four out of five success rate with BORO’ only failing to win one of their five pre-season games and that was against Championship level Portsmouth.

Games against Petersfield, Badshot Lea, Horsham and Horndean have all registered wins for Pat & Joe’s new look squad.

Tonight’s game saw a very mixed squad with no less than six Trialists in the match day squad….three starting the game!

It’s has to be encouraging….ahead of this Friday night’s visit to the AEI of a AFC Bournemouth XI….kick off 7pm.
