The club are delighted to announce the permanent signing of former
Bournemouth, Newport County, Scunthorpe, Yeovil and Eastleigh Striker
Jake Scimshaw.

It's a case of Gosport finally get their man, after Jake was a major
target in pre-season but lost out in the race for his signature, but
as soon as he became available and he made it clear that Gosport is
where he wanted to play his football, the club swooped to secure his
signature ahead of a number of other clubs.

Jake from the IOW is a free scoring centre forward who will add
another dimension to BORO's existing attacking options.

This is not a loan deal and Jake goes straight into the mix for
Saturday's league game at Salisbury.
