Today we played away to AFC bedhamptom after a long 9 weeks since our last game.
Bedhampton got the first goal quite early on in the game from a corner but the girls didn't drop their heads and carried on battling. After this we played some good football and got the ball out to our winger who saw her chance and took it, the keeper saved her initial shot but Ellen was in the right place to perfectly slot the ball into the back of the net . 1-1.
Bedhampton come back eager and managed to score another goal against us before half time.
Half time AFC Bedhampton 2-1 Boro Res
End of the first half our keeper went down injured so the second half started with Alison Woods in goal who made some cracking saves followed by Ellen claytor who switched half way through and again made some great saves and kept us in the game.
Bedhampton went on to score another 2 goals even though the offside flag was up for one of them. Time was getting on but the girls never dropped their heads once, they battled the whole game and it paid off .
Bobbie managed to score a beauty of a goal straight over the top of their keeper 10 minutes before the end of the game bringing the final score to 4-2.

Thank you to bedhampton for a good game and credit to their defence for being solid. We go again next week at home to QK Southampton Devs.
POTM today goes to our captain Ellen Claytor , well deserved she didn't stop once on that pitch today and battled well.

Today’s performance showed how far we have come as a team, in terms of how we were playing our football and how well we are communicating with eachother. Everyone battled to the end with sheer determination! We also had people stepping up and playing in positions they don’t usually play in, what a team.
