Local Business Backs Gosport - New Sponsors ‘AMG’ Impress Fans

Tonight’s Supporters Club / Fans Forum Meeting kicked around and addressed many different club topics, with the top table of Chairman Iain Mcinnes, Football Operations Manager Mark Summerhill plus Joint Head Coaches Pat Suraci & Joe Lea fielding questions from the assembled passionate BORO’ fans.

It was a great night of two way communication and what was pleasing and very obvious, was the amazing support for Pat & Joe who outlined their vision for the coming season.

A clear intention to play with energy, passion & style whilst creating a clear identity for the football club went down extremely well with all of those present.

A major announcement of the Club’s new shirt sponsor / club partner was well received.

After the meeting we caught up with Graham from AMG, who was delighted to be part of the New chapter adventure for next season.

Speaking to the club’s website Graham outlined his reasons for offering AMG’s support.

‘Amg the Garage LTD are extremely excited to be sponsoring Gosport Borough Football Club for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 seasons

We are a local Gosport family run garage with over 25 years experience, located on Wingate road just behind The Range, we are an MOT station and service centre offering maintenance, MOTS and repairs to all makes and models of vehicles.

We are already proud sponsors of the Gosport Borough YTC and many other Gosport Borough Youth teams.
As well as this we also sponsor an adult Netball team playing within the Gosport Fareham Netball Association, a Youth Netball team for Gosport Gators Netball Club playing within the AllAboutNetball League and a local youth darts player.

We like to give back to the community and support what we can when we can and we are in a great position to be able to do that.

I personally have two boys who play for Gosport Borough Youth on Saturdays and Sundays, my eldest son has taken the opportunity to play for district because of his involvement within GBYFC and the talented coaches here progressing him on.

My wife and I love taking our three children down to the AEI stadium with friends for as many home games as we can, for us this is a great afternoon, with a real community feel. It’s nice to see people come together supporting our local club, both young and old, rain or shine.

I would like to thank Iain McInnes for the opportunity and I look forward to working alongside everyone at GBFC.

Welcome to the BORO’ everyone from AMG.
