The 1944 Club Monthly Update

Welcome to October's 1944 Club monthly update. The next draw is due to take place in the Boro Bar following Saturday's game against Swindon Supermarine.

Gosport Borough Football Club and the 1944 Club Committee would like to thank everyone who has already joined the club. It really is much appreciated by us all. This is the first stage in helping the Football Club become more self-substainable and your contribution on a monthly basis is already making such a difference. All proceeds are contributing towards the operational costs of the club and we are pleased to share the financial statement which shows the income and expenditure of the club since the formation. The aim since the beginning has been for the club to be transparent and we will continue to share this information with you.

Income after Prize Money so far has contributed to the players coaches to Gloucester and Merthyr plus the essential purchase of 36 x Training Balls for the first team….see attached statement.

We are also delighted to inform you that Mark Summerhill, Football Operations Manager and Craig Stainton, Director and Club Secretary, have recently joined the club and we hope this will encourage their colleagues to join us.

The 1944 Club has already evolved. From a monthly draw, we have become more involved in activities of the club and we are liasing with the club on a regular basis to assist them. We are doing this on a voluntary basis, so your support and understanding is appreciated.

The monthly update will become a regular feature and will be shared via the club website, social media and the match day programme.
